LOVE

On August 10th, 2004, while walking across the street , I was struck by a bus. Several years earlier I was diagnosed with a debilitating form of Osteo Arthritis. I just turned 40 this year, and both of my hips are in need of replacement. After my accident, adding to my disability, I felt that I had lost everything; my home, my possessions, my physical abilities, but most importantly, my faith. The past few years have been a struggle for me, but I see so many people struggle in this country and around the world. I don’t feel I have the right to complain. So rather than just sitting around on my ass... I plan to do something about it. Over the next 2 years, I will collect ONE MILLION DOLLARS ...one dollar at a time. Once it's collected, 100% of the ONE MILLION DOLLARS will be donated to charity. I will be driving around the country in search of Good Samaritans. So out of all the many deserving charities and, who deserves the most help?This is exactly what I plan to find out... me, a camera, and ONE MILLION VOICESThis journey will be quite the challenging... living in my truck... though it will be fully loaded with everything you could possibly need on the road... including a full size bed...Everyone isn't going to appreciate or ever understand what I'm doing... or for that matter... why I'm doing it.I'm not even sure that I know the answers...But that's okay... that's what makes a journey an adventure.This page and the friends you will see will have already donated their "ONE DOLLAR" (or will very shortly) hint,hint...so that means that over the next 2 years... we're gonna try to get ONE MILLION FRIENDS!
