About Me

Well, let's see...I was born in AZ and then moved to WA just before 3rd grade. I grew up in a Seattle suburb but don't ask me where anything is in Seattle, I'm an Eastside girl (Marisa understands!). Then I came to OR for college and just ended up staying. Thank goodness I did because I met my wonderful husband while working at Great Harvest Bread Co. (yummy!!--the bread that is...well, and my husband too). He was my manager (scandal!) and he says he knew from the moment he met me that I was the one (awwww, how sweet). It took me a little longer to figure it out, but I'm so glad he stuck it out and waited so patiently...well, sort of patiently. We wed on 9/24/05 and have been enjoying married life ever since. A year after the wedding we moved to a little town just South of Portland and we both found jobs we enjoy. My job is perfect for now and I thank God every day for it, but my dream job is to be a stay at home mom, although I think it would be fun to own my own baby boutique or tea shop one day. I would also love to become a midwife or a doula, but that probably won't be until the kids are in school. No kids yet, maybe in another year, but that's what I said a year ago so we'll see. For updated info (since I tend to neglect MySpace) check out our blog: Lost in this moment with you...
And check out the family farm in the Salinas Valley!
