Firstly,
i believe dreaming/lucidity is the foundation of any spirituality (religion.) and personal mind/body/soul. It is the most important part of life which everyone for some reason looks past and dismisses them as "childhood storytime" (fuck yea!), but it also has EVERYTHING to do with your own consciousness and waking life. The take up evergy and space in consciousness and are the instinctive point of view in the world, where the answer is always 'expected' to be outside; a leader (hopefully not ours), a pill, a product, a doctor, a promise. This is humanities source! This is where we nourish and change! We are descendants of a 140-million year old family of dreamers.. and its a dangerous time for us..
The rest of me I guess is your standard 19 year old kid living in Madison. I have an amazing kitty named Leona, and I play drums in The Telos Ascent. We are in the middle of recording a 6-track album and will be out on May 1 (hopefully). I also do a lot of design work (flyers, websites (flash/html), album design, etc etc) and work in in the Adobe suite. My portfolio should be up shortly (www.austinjosephs.com)
