Here are some thoughts of a person named Thor. I refuse to let myself become another statistic. If I see an obstacle I hurdle over it, if I cant hurdle I climb, if I cant climb I soar. I believe everyday is a gift and a challenge. A day where you dont better yourself wether it be mind, body, or spirit is a day wasted. This world can be a very cold and unforgiving place so at times it is neccessary for you to be unforgiving aswell. Fighting through the ugliness of the world takes a strong person, although fighting through that and seeing the beauty beyond it takes a lot more.I am my own hero, I am my only judge, and I am my worst critic. I have taken responsibility of my own life and occasionally I am responsible for the lives of others. Life is difficult and everyone falls. Thor, Norse god of thunder. An ancient and highly revered divinity, Thor was the patron and protector of peasants and warriors. As a god of might and war he was represented as extremely powerful and fearless, armed with a magical hammer (which returned to him when he threw it), iron gloves, and a belt of strength. Being a god of the people he was also associated with marriage, with the hearth, and with agriculture. According to one legend he was the son of Woden. Thor was identified with the Roman god Jupiter, and among Germanic peoples Jove's day became Thor's day (Thursday)...
