About Me

Who am I, you might ask? I don't know 100%. Who am I that you are mindful of me? That is the question I ask my Lord. My life has been all about the 7's. 7 is the number of perfection but for me it has been about change! ~~~~~~~~~~When I was 7 years old I gave my heart and soul to Christ. I didn't turn my life over to him though. I was a trouble maker constantly causing chaos and being a leader in detentions at school. ~~~~~~~~~When I turned 14 all of that changed...I met girls that liked me. All of a sudden I became a hopeless romantic ladies man. Still living my life for myself and not consulting God on any decisions in my life. I headed off to Tennessee Tech to pursue my Engineering degree. While there I ran from God big time. All of that came crashing down with certain events. These events led to my 21st birthday. ~~~~~~~~~When I turned 21 I was on my knees realizing that I had wasted 21 years living for myself, 14 of which as a Christian who knew better. March 17th-18th I went backpacking by myself up in the mountains of Tennessee and there God dealt with my heart about preaching and going to Bible College instead. Right then I quit engineering and packed up for Victory Bible College. ~~~~~~~~I turned 28 this past year! I have had the opportunity to preach at least 1 a week for the past 8 now years. God has used this worthless man called Kyle in ways that I couldn't imagine nor describe in such simple words. God gave me "Rubicon Ministries" and I have been following that ever since. ~~~~~~~~~I cannot wait to see what He has in store over the next 7 years!Thank you God for all that you do when I don't deserve anything from you! You are amazing God and I love you with all of my heart, body, and soul! It is my desire to serve you all the days of my life. Please use me cause I'm on fire!Pastor K

I love all Christian music! Third Day, Casting Crowns, Caedmon's Call, and Chris Tomlin is what groups I listen to the most and the ones whose songs Band Rubicon plays most. Did I mention Band Rubicon Rocks?

Movies:

Passion of the Christ is the best movie ever made by far.

Television:

Smallville Rocks. Need I say more. Lost is pretty dominant but I haven't finished Season 1 yet. I have owned all 7 seasons of Buffy but sold them and started 24. I have now watched all of 5 seasons and almost done with season 6. Other than those on DVD, I don't watch T.V. ever.

Books:

The Bible is the most influential life changing book ever written. Other than that I refer to books on CD. I stink at reading. Partly because of all the other things I do. See Interests...

Heroes:

The Lord Jesus Christ is my only Hero. He is the only one that has never and can never let me down. In life, my father, James Douglas Hawkins, who has overcame unbelievable odds and still serves God without fear or reproach. Fictionally, Superman is the man. I am a fan of Batman but he can't hang with Superman.
