Born in Feb. of 1956, I have been a guitarist since 1970. I traveled the US and Canada in the 80s and again, for a short time, in the 90s. I have worked in studios, on and off, since 1974 and worked for a Concert Sound and Lighting company for a couple years as well.
I discovered my voice-over career in 1990 as Production Director & On-Air DJ for K-100 in Northern MN. Other radio gigs followed. KRZQ in Reno NV, USA Radio, in Northern Minnesota, and 93Q (KKBQ) in Houston TX.
After two years at KKBQ I was interviewed by the legendary Bill Young and consequently hired as one of 7 full-time audio producers at Bill Young Productions. I eventually became the voice and production talent on thousands of Concert tour, Motor Event and Album promotions.
After 7 brutal years at BYP, I left the company in pursuit of sanity and a new lifestyle, which I found in Nashville TN. Nashville is infested with musicians, writers and studios, but I have enjoyed great success working in the entertainment and advertising industry for clients all over the country, as well as Nashville. I also create custom music, and edit video.
Geography is irrelevant in my business, so there are plans to make another move before too long. I guess wonder-lust never wears off. I have high hopes that our next stop will be somewhere in the Caribbean.
I have also been a welder, millwright, lumberjack, carpet cleaner, truck driver, ordained minister, and homeless burden on society. I drink, smoke, laugh at things I shouldn’t, never get haircuts, and refuse to grow up. I love Physics, dogs, cats, Sci-Fi, girls and guitars. I am a bit of a conspiracy theorist and fancy myself a Pirate.
