About Me

About me-

My interest in Buddhist philosophy produced the Kata scarf project a few years ago, and since then I have been working on pieces dealing with malas and mandalas. The page I created for "A Book About Death" is also Buddhist inspired.

See the blog for upcoming events-

For over five years I have been part of a performance art group on Staten Island called "Day de Dada", creating performance art events on Staten Island and Manhattan in vein with the experimental and accidental nature of original Dada art. Dada- an art movement started in 1916 that was anti-art and anti-war.

My medium is knitting and my "Day de Dada" artwork is a continual knitting piece. It is presently 100 feet long!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

"A human being is part of the whole called by us the universe, a part limited in time and space. Humans experience themselves, their thoughts, and feelings as something separated from the rest, a kind of OPTICAL DELUSION of their consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of love and compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty" Albert Einstein
