Going to the Park, chilling with the kids, spending quiet time with my husband, Indian food, Coney Island; Brooklyn Botanical Garden - the Japanese Cherry Trees, and Magnolias in the spring are beautiful, the Peonies just in time for Mothers day, and the rose garden in the summer, this is my oasis. I love to bake, I volunteer when possible. I just love living. Oh yes, I love coffee and food. I love consumption and creation. Westerhall Plantation rum is another great thing for consuming. My favorite local joint for coffee - Lonelyville Coffee It is great, it is cute, I can't get enough (if only it were free) and my fav wherever coffee joint, Starbuck's (it's everywhere!!!) I like to do my own baking if I have time, and I love to be different than everyone else, we leave NY to eat in NJ (well, not really, but we will always go past our old time favorite...Jose Tejas, good Tex Mex, yes Tex Mex in NY)

The Chronicles of Narnia, Gods and Generals, Gone With The Wind, James and the Giant Peach (I loved it as a kid), Cookbooks (yes, I actually read them for pleasure), I hate to admit it, but I don't get to read enough, but i can usually fit in some magazines. With 4 kids, and crazy busy days, I just want to let my mind erode infront of the tube at the end of a long day......no thinking necessary.
My baby sister, she is living life to the fullest (most of the time, just gotta do something about that job.) My Husband, he puts up with nonsense, fixes broken people and still has time to love me. Those who have sacrificed their lives defending us, and those who continue to fight for our freedoms. Randy, not only is he a cool cousin, but he willingly went to fight the bad guys. Go Randy! Those who stand up for children and protect them. First responders (firefighters, police, and EMS). Voters. Teachers. Those who fight for what is right. Those who fix what is wrong. Oh, yeah, doctors are pretty cool too. Daddy and Maddy =)
