My Interests

What make me happy: People who tell me exactly how they feel, without fear or regret or shame. The beach. Italian food. Pot roast. Vegetables. Grippos. Going to the movies. Watching movies. Cuddling. Being understood without saying a word. Feeling loved. Loving someone with everything I have and feeling that in return. My daugter. My friends, however few there are of them. Being proud of people I love. Being proud of myself. Old books. Listeing to the radio while I drive. Antiques. Goodwill. Having my hair done. Pepsi. Bottled water. Peppers from Papa Johns. Warm weather. Eating popcorn at the movies. Getting text messages. Having voice mail from people I like. When people call me just because they are thinking of me. Thinking about poetry. Going out to eat. Fountain cherry coke. Pizza. Awesome chimichangas from Amy's. Pinto beans and fried potatoes. Plays, being in them and watching them. Museums. Chinese Takeout. Laughing till I have to pee. Drug Dogs. The Office.

I'd like to meet:

I dont know what to put here. So, this is from a poem that means a lot to me:"She left the web, she left the loom, She made three paces through the room, She saw the water-lily bloom, She saw the helmet and the plume, She look'd down to Camelot. Out flew the web and floated wide; The mirror crack'd from side to side; "The curse is come upon me," cried The Lady of Shalott"

Television:

TV: I am addicted to American Idol and I have no reason why. I love Courtv and A&E and the history channel. I also watch the food network and some MTV or VHI when I am extremely bored. I like Cold Case Files and City Confidential and Forensic Files and Psychic Detectives. The Office. Unsolved Mysteries is great. When I was younger I loved Are You Afraid of the Dark and Snick.

Books:

I like books about ghosts and true crime and serial killers. I like to flip through quote books and I like to read plays. I like Sylvia Plath and Anne Sexton (but I'm not a feminist). I like Charlse Bukowski. I like to read the short stories of Steven King. I like to read short stories by most people actually. I like to read Faulkner and Whitman and Jennifer Michael Hecht's poetry. I like the Canterbury Tales and old literature. I like Joseph Conrad and Vonnegut a lot and The Lord of the Flies

Heroes:

My dad is not my hero. My heroes tend to be people who decide to get out of the car and walk as opposed to sitting in that alley, facing a brick wall. My heroes tend to know who they are, and they are few and far between. I normally dont give people enough credit, and I'm sorry for that, but they normally dont give me much reason to. I look up to my Aunt Kim a lot. My heroes are those unafraid, those who follow happiness and their hearts, as cliche as that sounds. Most people say they are following their hearts, but they really arent. Including me. .
