Originally from Toronto, Canada, Bad Guy is a reggae vocalist, deejay, and emcee. An original lyricist, Bad Guy blends a rich variety of conscious, rhythmic, and upbeat elements in his music. While addressing important personal, social, and political issues in his songs, Bad Guy reveals an honest picture of himself and outlook. True to the positive and inspirational nature of reggae, Bad Guy delivers a style of music both for reflection and enjoyment. In addition to singing, Bad Guy’s live performances include being the main emcee and a deejay for Barn of Yard International sound system, founded by Mitch Stone. Following a period of performing and hosting the monthly reggae show at Ottawa’s Mercury Lounge, “Tighten Upâ€, Bad Guy released his first demo CD: “Power In Unityâ€. In it, he provides a vibrant array of reggae songs, lyrically written and performed by himself. Available for bookings and dubplate recordings, Bad Guy currently resides in Ottawa, Canada, working nearby as a philosophy teacher.
