About Me
so yeah, i'm a butler senior high school graduate. butler's a decent place, i suppose. i did alright academically, and i liked physics and calc. i am (was) a band geek for four years, and i love music a lot, probably more than i love you, sorry. i play trumpet (sometimes) and guitar and i dabble in bass, drums, and keys. i play guitar in an instrumental rock band - think early 60s surf with lots of blues, jazz, and other random influence. i'd love to have a small recording studio when i grow up as a side project. i am now a freshman at carnegie mellon university for electrical engineering. i'm a huge procrastinator. i have long hair, and i don't particularly care what you think about it, if you're really my friend, it won't get in the way of our relationship. it is dark brown, but not black, and don't try to tell me that it's black. i'm 5'11" and about 140lbs. i care very much about my friends. my middle name is dunmire, and i have many nicknames, call me what ever you want. religion...i'm not sure, let's move on...politics, i'm a libertarian, but most people don't know what that is, so on the traditional scale i'd tend to be republican. basically libertarians want very little government and restrictions, but not anarchy. back to music, i listen to lots of kinds (no order here): heavy metal, hard rock, rock, classic rock, alternative, indie, some OLD punk, jazz, blues, techno (more on the ambient side), prog, post, and space rock, a little rap, sorry not much country. um...i'm not particularly shy, i'm reserved when i first meet people, but it doesn't take me long to open up. i believe(hope) people have fun around me, i am very sarcastic at times, often a little "highly strung", but generally think i have a decent, perhaps quirky sense of humor...i will listen to you if you have a problem, and help if i can. i don't play sports, not exactly the athletic type, but it doesn't bother me. i like the night more than the day, if i had my way i'd sleep all day and be up all night. in fact, i am up til 5am most summer nights. i'm online a lot, you should im me, i am antisocialnerd23 and i got that screen name several years ago, but i don't feel like changing it. go to http://thehurricanes.ath.cx to check out my band, or look us up on myspace.
