Words. Yarn. Fun things you can do with yarn, like knitting, or crocheting. Listening to music. Creating music. Helping others create music. Helping others create words. Getting up in front of people and talking at them, though I wouldn't have believed it if you had told me this a few months ago. Theology (particularly Christology and soteriology). Psychology. How languages work. Children. Becoming human.
People who are willing to look beyond.("Beyond what?")
You know how people often say they like everything but country, or everything but rap and country, or everything but classical and country? I'm one of those people who likes music from nearly every genre - including rap, classical, and even *gasp* country. What I don't like is the kind of overproduced pop and hip hop that gets played on the radio ten million times a day, or pretty much any death metal. I like music that's sophisticated, complex, and layered, the kind of music that requires one's full attention to catch all the little interesting details.
Easier to tell you what I don't like. I don't like slasher flicks. I don't like crude humor. I don't like movies that promote unhealthy attitudes towards interaction with other human beings.
Television sucks. :-p I have a few shows that I like (Law & Order, Monk, Stargate SG-1, House) but I have trouble keeping up with even my favorites.
Ones with words in them.
