@rock's BluntAxe Orchestra came to live from drums & sax livingroom sessions in early 2004. The concept was: "Improvised saxtunes with freaky grooves.
These sessions reached a new level when they were enriched with pumpin' & soulfull-hiphop basslines.
The link with the finest of the Belgian improvisation scene is made throuh @rock's late night sessions with DJ Godeville's band "Partly Live". That made @rock's BluntAxe grow into a true dutch-belgian P-Jazz "Orchestra".
On the stage this melting pot of influences guarantees a mixture of energetic danceable grooves with sonic experiments, whereby guest musicians are often invited!
