I love getting to know many different people. However, I think I'd like to have a conversation with a lot of people that you would not see on most lists. Of course I'd love to have coffee with Abraham Lincoln, C.S. Lewis, Martin Luther, Mother Theresa, Aristotle, or Plato. But I'd also be interested to talk with the likes of Saddam Hussein, Hitler, or Stalin. I just would have liked to talk with these men to get to know them. I'd like to learn about their lives. I am convinced a young five year old doesn't grow up wanting to be a tyrant necessarily. Something occurred in the moments between when they were born and when they committed the horrible crimes they are infamous for. A lot of stuff must have went on, both things that happened in their lives as well as choices they made. I would be interested to learn more from their standpoint.
