I run Mo' Phunk Records and since that comapny is based in music, I got a job I could make money with, too. 10-20K a year doesn't cut it in the city, especially when you go out as much as me. Through Mo' Phunk I have worked on and off with Duff Entertainment, and they recently hired me on as the production manager and co-booking agent (w/ Justin) for Cubby Bear North in Lincolnshire. Through Mo' Phunk I am booking some shows here and there for Bottle of Justus, and Dave Tamkin's national tour dates. I run a small but expanding sales area for technology products for a casino parts company (MI, MN, ND, WI and CO), mostly slot machine parts. I work from home, but am on the road more and more. I was born in Milwaukee, grew up in Hoffman Estates and Palatine, went to St. Viator High School, then Illinois State University. I moved back to Arlington Heights area after ISU and now I live on the North Side. Sports I like better in person than on TV (short attension span, or I just don't really care), I would say I dig the Cubs, Packers, Bulls, Blackhawks -- Apparently I was more of a Michael Jordan fan than a bulls fan, because I seem to lose interest there quickly now, and Blackhawks by default as a Chicagoan. I will watch just about any pro football game. I am going to go see Packers/Bears on X-mas with my pops - first game since I was 12. I wasn't sure I was really growing up but now I have to strech out for at least 5-10 minutes before I run or play ball, so I am at least getting older. I seem to get caught up in the big picture and am making an honest effort to make these possibilities a reality. Everyday I feel like I realy accomplished something or pushed the envelope in the direction of progress I sleep and feel better. Being the first person to do something differently or find a better way gives me a warm feeling inside, probably my competitive nature. I figure to make it financially doing something inovative you have to win a couple coin flips. I like my chances. Taito
