"...Yes, I have lingerie, but I don't wanna wear it in church..."

About Me

I am an avid bubble-blower. I love skirt-twirling. And I should mention that I'm the Princess of the Flowers.

My Interests

I love to sing!! Do it every chance I get, even if that means it's with my 3 yr olds.. I've been trying my hand at writing music, however, I'm in a lull. I like to write poetry. I do almost anything artistic, although my art is rarely conventional. I am a model. I've been trying my hand at acting and directing. Shall be seen in a student film soon! I love all things daring. This shall include, but is not limited to, sky diving, cliff jumping, jet skiing, caving, rock climbing, hiking, sailing, exploring uninhabited islands, backpacking ...ok that's all I've done so far. See "The List". Also, I should mention eating. This interests me greatly! Especially when coffee and chocolate are involved.

I'd like to meet:

Most everyone I wish to meet is heaven. Here I wish really only to meet my grandmother. So far I've been quite unsuccessful at that. Hopefully that will change soon.

Music:

This is such a defining part of my life, it should be entered into with careful consideration. My latest inspiration has been Kendall Payne, although old school Metallica still speaks to my soul. I love Guns N Roses, Nirvana, Led Zeppelin, ACDC, No Doubt, Fiona Apple, Jewel, Derek Webb, Sandra McCracken, Casting Crowns, Plumb, Michael Buble, Barlow Girl and a plethora of artists who strike my fancy every now and again. I was very much the metal head growing up but have somewhat recently "mellowed" if you will. While I can appreciate much, I cannot and refuse to appreciate country! Won't happen. I love live music! I will see almost anything live when given the chance.

Movies:

The Little Mermaid, Fight Club, The Matrix (note that I only acknowledge the exsistance of the 1st one), While You Were Sleeping, Ever After, Monty Python, Dumb and Dumber, The Princess Bride, Muppet Treasure Island, Death Rage, Godspell, Finding Nemo, The Emperors New Grove, Dirty Dancing, Pride and Predjuduce (the LONG one), Jane Eyre, Cabin by the Lake, The Labyrinth

Television:

Gilmore Girls, House

Books:

The Bible, any C.S. Lewis, Tolkien, 1984, Captivating & Wild at Heart

Heroes:

The truth is that our finest moments are most likely to occur when we are feeling deeply uncomfortable, unhappy, or unfulfilled. For it is only in such moments, propelled by our discomfort, that we are likely to step out of our ruts and start searching for different ways or truer answers.
