Methods of Doubt formed originally as Overflow in summer of 2003. After parting ways with their founding guitarist in early 2004, we spent the next few months auditioning guitarists and practicing at DNA Studios. In July 2004, the band came in to the studio to practice and met Danny as his band was wrapping up their session. After a few jam sessions, it was clear that this quartet: Will, Mike, Will, and now Danny had something worth pursuing. By late 2004, the newly formed band was playing shows all around the Miami local scene and by 2005, was putting the finishing touches on their EP
95 Theses. In 2006, Overflow decided to change their name to Methods of Doubt decided to coincide with changes in their sound, structure, and style.In March of 2007, lead singer Will Priegues left the band to pursue other opportunities. Since then, the band has been pursuing their music as an instrumental ensemble. After a brief stint writing and practicing in a dingy U-Store It warehouse complex in Doral, Methods of Doubt now owns and operates Choice Blend Multimedia , where they currently play.

The Self-Titled Album, their debut, due out in late 2008. Each member brings a unique musical and stylistic approach to the band's overall sound - everything from metal, hardcore, and prog rock to jazz, hip-hop and funk. The result is a genre-bending experience that leaves long-time fans and first-time listeners reeling. The music is always available here on Myspace, but the best way to experience the band is through the vibrant intensity of their live shows.
