Derek Mack in a multi-talented musician/singer songwriter. Derek has electrified audiences around the country and Europe with his band, leaving audiences screaming for more and receiving rave reviews from music critics nation wide. Derek, born (Shawn D. McCray) is the younger brother of Grammy Nominee George McCrae known world wide for his multi platinum hit album Rock Your Baby". Like many of the best R & B performers, Dereks roots lie in the music of his grand mothers Pentecostal church, where he started performing when he was seven years old. As a teenager Derek formed his first band and picked up talent awards to fuel the fire. In college Derek formed his second band and became the opening act for several college tours, opening for recording artists Cameo, The OJays, The Commodores, The Isley Brothers, The Dazz Band and Pebo Bryson.
