My name is PHIL. I am 34 years old and spent most of my life playing in bands and the last 10 years of my life trying to raise a family. I started my musical adventures in a band NEW APPROACH back in the late 80's in the buffalo hardcore scene..then went to play guitar for DISCONTENT in around 90..then became part of a timeless little band AGAINST ALL HOPE.which became my staple for 12 long years and is STILL going aside from breif breaks sometimes lasting a year or more..during that time i played drums for FADEAWAY and later drums for DESPAIR i was also part of the legendary CINDERBLOCK that consisted of members later to go on to SNAPCASE..EARTH CRISIS.I also played guitar for a brief stint in SLUGFEST..another buffalo trademark..later in life went on to play guitar in a few metal bands DROSS and HAIR TRIGGER and Currently and back home in AGAINST ALL HOPE..man the memories but i guess you can say if it was buffalo hardcore i was all over it.I have 2 WONDERFULL children who are the brightest sunshine in my life and 2 armsfull of memories from all my musical endeavors over the years. As life doesnt always turn out as you hope it will i am separated from my wife and the only life i have known for the past 10 years.
i spend most of my time playing my guitar,reflecting on my childhood .. crap i have even given up on world of warcraft. Im on a journey in life to rebuild myself and never give up on the things that made me special to myself and others.
as time goes on life has the ability to make a person lose sight of the joys and goals they had once held dear and made them happy. even if we do not live up to the expectations of others that doesnt make us bad people it just makes us ourselfs.
i myself am a big KID lol i enjoy music and gamming and the simple things in life
im a big teddy bear with a huge heart and a shoulder for whomever needs it.
i love my children and family and look much forward to my weekends so i can hug the crap out of them and have them by my side.
i have worked at the same place for 15 long years (wow thats been a long time)
AND YEA im the dad that can sit and play guitar hero with the kids and ENJOY it
(like i said a big kid)i guess i have come to the realization these days it all boils down toshow your love
show you care
never believe in your heart that anything is forever
never lose track of the things you hold dear
and most importantly NEVER GIVE UPlife is too short and you never know when a angel will come to hold you through your toughest times a mothers love can shine bright if you let it
