In a FUTURE LIFE, I will intern at as many music, health, fashion and culture magazines as possible and pick the best one for a full time life experience.
In a PAST LIFE, I helped co-create Agree To Disagree with Andy G., which later became the largest punk rock music fanzine in Canadian History with 15,000 print copies. It appeared at its death in one-hundred cities and towns from Victoria to Halifax in Canada. In case you missed the first line, the name was Agree To Disagree, and it's long been forgotten by some and remembered often by others.
I must admit the fanzine was lacking in quality at times do to many issues which included lack of experience, stress, laziness (not mine) and the lack of input from a collective of other punks, even though they helped us generously with selling advertisements to punk labels and delivering the fanzine to independent record stores in their area and of course the great writers and artists who also donated their time over the years to help the punk scene grow and expand across this great body of land.
At times I am rather embarrassed about the fanzine and look back at all the stupid things I did to it (straying from the original vision), however, it was still alright, I suppose. My favorite issue will always be number #4 with Anti-Flag, Another Joe, Reset and the UK Subs. The artist, Ted Rall, who did the cover art was also very-very amazingly talented, and it ended up being our best cover and will always be.
