Life revolving around One Thing resolves All things

About Me

I was born in California to emigrants from the Philippines. My great granddad was an American GI in the Spanish American War who married a lolita from Spain. I moved to Missouri in 93 and then Atlanta in 98 where I began working as a lighting director.I like coffee. I like naps. I like great friends. I like my house. I like knowing and being known by God, who reminds me lately to be still and know That he is God and that He will be exalted in my life and in nations. I like a lot of stuff I guess but what really gets my attention is when God evidently moves in my life and others.I'm a better host than confronter. I'm a better cook than a guest. I'm a words of affirmation guy. I give better than I receive. I like my new car. I like all the windows and blinds open in my house. I hate vaccuuming and dusting, laundry. I like when people can feel at home. I have more confidence in being able to support good leaders than being one.My hair is thinning, so I like ballcaps... I think I've got 15 or so.My heroes are Jesus. And my grandma Josie. Besides God, she's why I exist. She came to the U.S. in early 60s, was card dealer in Reno to make money to bring my mom and uncles over from the Philippines when they were still in grade school. She was a retired nurse and the next great biography needing to be written. C'mon, her first date with grampa, Pepe, was watching "Gone With the Wind" at the Drive-In!! Ohhh, and then he couldn't bring here back home so late that nite saying, "You can't, my dad will shoot you..." .. MyGen Profile Generator

Coming Back Home 3:19am

The last six months have been some kind of wilderness trek like few I've ever had.  I'd say I don't remember being as despondent and un-enthusiastic as I've been in this prolonged season.  I...
