About Me

Hello there! My name's Ben Swidenbank, I'm 29 years old and I'm a professional musician from the United Kingdom. I've been playing the bass since about '92 and i think i've just about got the hang of it! Right now I'm playing for several bands, mainly the Mark Joseph band, and also my younger brother Joseph's band. Check him out, he's pretty good! The last couple of years have been rather interesting, I've been on TV, played alongside some major acts (The Who, Ocean Colour Scene) and I've been touring alot too, which is great fun. I love football, Arsenal, hanging out with my friends, running and all things a bit naughty! MyWackoSpace Icons Collage MySpace Editor Photo Collage MySpace Backgrounds

Movies:

Get Carter, Back to the future, Airplane!, Phone booth, All three of the original Star Wars, Pulp fiction, Sammy's super t-shirt (a children's foundation classic) and The Breakfast club are just some i love.

Television:

I'm a huge fan of old telly, things like The Sweeney & The Professionals just because its from a different era, I suppose. Which is why I loved Life on Mars so much. The best bit of TV I've seen in ages.

Books:

I've read some good ones but as a bassist and musician, the Jaco Pastorius biography is essential reading.

All the family xx
