About Me

Born in Oklahoma and Raised in Texas so I was blessed with the best of both worlds!!!!.....In the early 80's I played piano and sang back-up in a road band (Wild Red Horse) for Curb Recording artist the "Burrito Brothers". In 1985 I put together a band, cut a Custom Label album produced by Burrito Brother - John Beland titled "Country Lady" which was also going to be a single release. I received a "Recommend" in Billboard Magazine in Nov. 1986 for "Country Lady" but due to circumstances the single was never released......My wife and I moved to Nashville (Hendersonville) in 1988. I was fortunate to meet and work with some wonderful people (and have a few songs published) there before heading back to Texas in 1997 after our child was born......After moving back to Texas I decided it was time to put the music on hold. Around 2003 I attended the initial meeting of the North Texas Songwriters Association formed by Jimmy Wallace. It was at this meeting I met a couple of soon to be good friends and co-writers, Thomas Flanery and Wade Kilgore. Tom recently moved to Smyrna TN just outside of Nashville, so, if you're in that area hollar at Tom, he CAN write a song!! Wade is busy with his bands Wyndkreek and 121 North, check out their myspace sites for some tunes we co-wrote together!!! One other buddy I can't leave out is the multi-talented Curtis Wayne, check out his "Swamp Blues" and band The Crocagators!!
