I was given the name of Dehlia (duh-lie-uh). I was born 19 years ago on June 4. I graduated from Bunnell High school in 2007 and now commute to Southern CT State University. I plan on graduating with a Master's Degree in Psychology, contemplating on going for the PhD. I've been working at Danny's Drive-in for about three years. I have an amazing boyfriend named Burt and we've been going out for 2 1/2 years. He is truly my one and only; I plan to marry him.
I'm pretty open about my past now. Like my favorite tattoo says, I use the negatives to develop. I have struggled through eight years of self injury and major depression. I'm not your average girl. I'm a fucking metalhead. And yeah, sure, I'm down with the clown. I fucking hate alot of things about corporate America, the mainstream, and the current state of the union. I know my rights, my beliefs, and I know what is important to life. I'm a fucking atheist. I believe in science, not brainwashed bullshit. I'm independent in many aspects. I have my own car, license, and can hold my own financially, and I can't wait for the moment where I can move out of my mom's house. Everything that I own and all my bills are paid for by myself. The only thing that I'm missing is my own apartment (and that will change soon). I'm rarely able to define myself neatly. I swear like a sailor. I'm fat, and a hopeful member of Planet Fitness. I've hated my body to the point of starving myself for months. Don't fuck with my weight or my self esteem. I tell myself worse things than you'll ever say to me. I'm a perfectionist. I try to do my best at everything, and I always set too-high standards. I'm also a control freak and am very organized. I need to have to-do lists and goals, or my life turns to chaos. Sometimes I go on cleaning sprees, and other times everything piles up.
I love body modification. I currently have 2g ears, 8g second holes, a vertical industrial, and a tongue piercing. I also have three tattoos: on my left leg, back of neck, and back of right shoulder, and I definitely have plans for more. My love for tattoos has caused me with a great desire to learn how to tattoo. I'm currently practicing line work and plan on tattooing my friends very soon. I also love concerts, shows, reading, drawing, singing, driving, smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, partying, swimming, going to the mall, web design, photography, HTML, xanga, and seeing my friends. I also love going to the club with my Alchemy girls in New Haven, but I will always prefer headbangin to kick ass music in a sweaty moshpit with my boyfriend.
