About Me

I teach pre-k in the Bristol Public Schools and I LOVE IT! I get paid to dance and sing all day long, which is what I would do with my time anyway, so what a bonus! :) I play French horn in 2 local community bands and I sing in a local chorus as well. When both your parents are music teachers, it's hard to escape the music nerd gene, but I love it!!

My Interests

Going to see live music, rocking it out by myself in my car, dancing like a fool any time I get the chance.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet anyone who has a good story to tell; past, present or future. :)

Music:

Just about anything with the exception of rap/R&B... it's hard to dance like a rockstar to that crap! Favorites include: 80's Madonna, Bon Jovi, Guster, A New Found GloryRadiohead, Dashboard Confessionals, ABBA, Hoobastank, Christmas music (which, by the way, starts getting play time in my car on November 1st), Ataris, Weezer, Cake, Panic! at the disco, Steve Winwood, OK Go, Blink 182, Pearl Jam, Lisa Loeb, Alanis Morisette, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, Cream, Bread, Carpenters, Donovan, Simon and Garfunkle, and more that I'm probably forgetting...

Movies:

For some reason, I love Overboard and Groundhog Day... to the point that I watch them both whenever they come on TBS. Also, I really like the movie Memoir, and a guilty pleasure movie is Total Recall.

Television:

Family Guy, Prison Break, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, House, 6 Degrees, Supernatural, Heroes... do I watch a little TV? I think so...

Books:

Anything Stephen King.... I also like Anita Shreve, Nicholas Sparks, and Dean Koontz.
