In times of change, learners inherit the Earth, while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists. I never had much faith in leaders. I am willing to be charged with almost anything, rather than to be charged with being a leader. I am suspicious of leaders, and especially of the intellectual variety. Give me the rank and file every day in the week. If you go to the city of Washington, and you examine the pages of the Congressional Directory, you will find that almost all of those corporation lawyers and cowardly politicians, members of Congress, and mis-representatives of the masses -- you will find that almost all of them claim, in glowing terms, that they have risen from the ranks to places of eminence and distinction. I am very glad I cannot make that claim for myself. I would be ashamed to admit that I had risen from the ranks. When I rise it will be with the ranks, and not from the ranks. If I have seen farther than others, it is because I was standing on the shoulder of giants. A leader must have the courage to act against an expert's advice. If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, you are a leader. Good leaders must first become good servants. Keep your fears to yourself, but share your inspiration with others. A leader takes people where they want to go. A great leader takes people where they don't necessarily want to go but ought to be. Your vision will become clear only when you look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams. Who looks inside, awakens. DO YOU AND ONLY YOU. I make my own beats, I make my own lyrics, but I make more than music, I make movements, I plants seeds for those under me to grow from. THOW WOW......"see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil""NOPE" i dont promote violence n' murder/ i promote life with silence n' "NOPE" i never heard of/ that person you brought up, its obvious to get me caught up/ but im oblivious n' rather be locked up/ than to be injured serious or dropped up/ on some street corner, while my body decomposes by the rain/ jus for speakin sayin that i know somebody's name/ but nobody's the same, theres always a difference/ one person will write 3 paragraphs with a signature to skip there sentence/ the other will take 3 life time sentences/ surrounded by barb wire fences/ n' guards with rifles, gangs with rivals n' exercise benches/ fed time they'll send you somewhere in the trenches/ where jus to survive you'll need all 5 of your senses/ plus they know its hard for loved ones to come visit you/ so ur family has to write a letter sayin, "grandma's funeral jus passed n' everyone misses you"/ but your missin them n' now wish you woulda been listenin/ when pops used to say, "fast n' easy livin is a fast n' easy way to prison"/ in addition to lessons you learned as an adolescent's/ you took the note out the bottle than drank from it, skippin its message/ that the essence of life is precious n' can be taken from you any second/ for bein arrested or tested then shot in the head for your statements against your co defendant/ now i ask you, are you built for this way of life?/ where u cant hug your family or kiss your wife/ everything looks the same cuz only freedom's in your sight/ stabbing another human for respect so that you can earn stripes/ no cell phones you gotta communicate through kites/ n' try to stay clear from your bunkie cuz he jus got lice/ your lil cuzzin came in n' he jus got life/ with no parole for playin the role of a thug, i know this cant be right/ sleepin with one eye open hopin to see the light/ no emotions jus goin through the motions waitin until its night/ n' your only right is to have knowledge/ n' despite that your mind is from college/ you fight cuz your solid/ n' you might jus acknowledge/ that you'll be free one day but there's no signs of a promise/ now if you have to think about your answer on silence, get out the game quick/ cuz for me, it's "NOPE" officer i dont promote violence, i aint seen shit/ when i was born i didn't know how to talk/ its kinda the same now. they have nothin on me so they say, "your free to go, you can walk"/ im made for this....NEEKS
