About Me

Original Texas Music! Thanks for supporting the live, local music scene here in Dallas/FW. You've probably seen me around town, drinking whiskey and playing music with the boys. I am a Bar Singer as opposed to a traditionally trained jazz vocalist. That means that I play jazz that you can dance and drink whiskey to. It's okay to jump up and holler at my shows. I am fortunate enough to get to play with Dallas' biggest and baddest, and I never take that for granted. "SugarDaddy" was my first songwriting effort, and I am appreciative of the support it has received from KNON 89.3 fm and the Dallas bar community. Because I am a Bar Singer. I play music in low-down, disreputable juke-joints and honky tonks. You know, cuz you've seen me there. Also included is my second original song "Restraining Order". It's a Texas honky tonk inspired by true love. "No need to ask, I don't have any restraining orders against me.....that are current."Whiskey and Blues should have freed me from wantin' that no good, cheatin', lyin' man: "You Got My Man" is my newest original tune Please check out my website www.missmarcy.com
