THE NEW AND IMPROVED About Me follows:
I love language. I have this desire to be able to communicate with everyone, which I originally realized when I started writing creatively. I hope to someday know at least five languages in a fluent manner, maybe more. Right now I am starting to learn French and am doing pretty wel with my Spanish, so let's hope that all goes well from here on outward, and that I can snag that goal and use the linguistic talent I have to be of some measurable use to civilization. Bin ich schon perfekt mit Deutsch? Sehen wir, ja?
I also love movies. While I don't any longer see myself in some form of movie-related future (although I don't rule it out), I enjoy appreciating--and mocking--them. In essence, I consider myself someone who loves and appreciates self-expression, but doesn't believe that it takes a genius to do it. I think it comes from whatever level expresses who the person is, not just the artistic, stylized level we glorify in our pop culture. And self-expression is often also best without symbolism.
How does any of this belong in the About Me section? Well if you are asking that question, I think that there may be questions you should ask yourself. After all, this is about me, and piling in a bunch of nonsense about how I dress and spend my time would just describe my existence. Am I not merely my thoughts?

About me? Oh where to start?
My name is Jonathan Michael, and I've grown accustomed to it. I think the thing I like most in life is quality time, which is also my language of love, if you know about that book. I the thing that most offends me is definitely when someone blows me off, or doesn't have the courtesy to at least warn me when they aren't going to be able to follow through with something scheduled.
As far as my past goes, here's my life in a nutshell. Up until about halfway through 6th grade I was a total dork who was scared of what other people thought. Then at the beginning of sixth grade, it all went down from there, and I realized that if I don't start being myself then I'm not gonna be anybody at all. So, while probably not aware of how helpful they were being, a few friends (namely Nick Johnson and Brett Patterson) and one extremely great teacher (Mrs. Phillips) I finally got used to being who I am and not giving a darn what other people think. It was not instant, but it's been great. From there on I've been pretty much the same person, and here are my best qualities:
-- I am --supposedly-- a good conversationalist.
-- I'm usually good at foreseeing the consequences of a certain action or choice.
-- With being blown off a lot in the past, I can't help but be a listening ear.
-- I know who I am and am almost 100% content with where my life is going.
