About Me

"Ducks and Drakes" Live at The Cocaine February 9th 2008

Kettle officially formed in the summer of 2007 when Nathaniel (drums) joined forces with Greg (vocals, guitar) and Andrew (guitar) who had been playing together since 2005 under the name Moon School. Andrew and Greg recorded a demo in the summer of 2006 at Orangewood Recording in Mesa, AZ, and spent the rest of the year writing new material and looking for the rest of the band. The name change seemed appropriate once the new rhythm section stamped their signature on the mix, resulting in a more aggressive, adventurous, and tighter sound. Chaz (bass) had played with Greg and Andrew for a while in 2005, and returns in 2008 as the new bass player, ready to bring sweet riffs and his sweet beard to adoring fans around the globe.
