Behold the Man

That Individual

About Me

Joyous Love looked to me while she was holding
my heart within her hands, and in her arms
my baby lay asleep wrapped in a veil.
She woke her then and trembling and obedient
she ate that burning heart out of her hand;
weeping I saw them both then depart from me.
-Dante
Painting by William Blake
I turn the page of the day
writing what I'm told
by the motion of your eyelashes.
I enter you,
the truthfulness of the dark.
I want proofs of darkness, want
to drink the black wine:
take my eyes and crush them.
A drop of night
on your breast's tip:
mysteries of the carnation.
Closing my eyes
I open them inside your eyes.
Always awake
on its garnet bed:
your wet tongue.
There are fountains
in the gardens of your veins.
With a mask of blood
I cross your thoughts blankly:
amnesia guides me
to the other side of life.
-Paz
What I do, as of right now, is trivial. The important thing is what I am becoming- no one can understand this poetical metamorphosis!

My Interests

I developed a profound interest for the human intellect and artistic imagination. But what fascinates me, rather interest me, the most is the FEMININE SOUL, that is to say the female psyche.

"The art of not reading is an important one. It consists in not taking an interest in whatever may be engaging the attention of the general public at any particular time. When some political or ecclesiastical pamphlet, or novel, or poem is making a great commotion, you should remember that he who writes for fools always finds a large public.-A preconditon for reading good books is not reading bad ones: for life is short."- Schopenhauer

"What we need are books that hit us like a most painful misfortune, like the death of someone we loved more than we love ourselves, that make us feel as though we had been banished to the woods, far from any human presence, like a suicide. A book must be the ax for the frozen sea within us."-Kafka
