Hi, numele meu e Tk,
(yes, really).. And I’m evolving.
These are some known facts:
I accept most adds, and I prefer messages to comments.
I’m a nice person, and I’m especially nice over then net. So don’t be afraid to talk.
I love logic and intelligent conversation, but sometimes I do enjoy acting playfully stupid. =]
I obsess over subjects until I fully understand them, and then I move on to something else.
I feng shui absolutely everything. Even clutter.
i write like a graphomaniac, I'm always spewing out some kind of poem or just chaotic words scrambled on a page. I went through a phase where I wrote compulsively on my walls.
I have a chip in my front tooth, but I don’t wanna get it fixed cause I think it’s cute. ^^
My humor consists of sarcasm and making fun of things people take too seriously. Subjects I really like to pick on are existentialism, goth kids, vegans, peta, democrats, republicans, racism, sexism, "vampires", Paganism, Christianity, Atheists, the British, and the rich. I make fun of these things because I CAN in a non-ignorant-asshole way. For example, I don't make fun of Islam simply because I've never studied it. if I have the right to jokingly trash something, I will. =]
I used to be uber-gothic. Painted eyebrows and all.
I am an introvert, but I’ll answer most any question. If I don’t want to tell you something I’ll lie in an obvious way to make you laugh. Charming eh?
I used to wear really tight plants, but now that skinny jeans are fashionable I’ve switched to super-huge wide-legged jeans that drape off me and drag on the floor. They’re all cool like hobo trousers. =]
I have a theory that I’m mildly autistic, and sometimes I have meltdowns in busy, loud, or chaotic places. I usually dislike being touched and I don’t like people who talk very loudly.
I have extremely acute hearing. I pick up the pitch from electronics and it really hurts my ears, so I have to wear earmuffs when I’m in electronic stores, at the cinema, or when I watch TV.
People who chew with their mouths open or talk loudly while eating really disturb me.
In July I begin my studies to become a holistic healer. I want to practice western herbology, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, planetary herbology, and possibly massage therapy. One day, after I’ve been practicing awhile, I’d like to open my own clinic.
I practice divinatory arts and I’m studying palmistry, but that takes years and years to get good at.
My heritage is Kalderash Roma (gypsy) from the Transylvanian plateau in Romania. My family has lost the culture, but “wandering” is still kind of drilled into us. My great grandfather lived and died on skid row, and my father was a squatter for many years. I like traveling, and I love sleeping in a new place each night.
My last name is Morelock, which translates to mean “messy hair”.
I’ve been a vegetarian for almost four years, and I’ve been vegan for a few months now. I have a mostly ‘primitive’ diet consisting of nuts, roots, berries, beans, leafy veggies, whole grains, and squash. I don’t eat a lot of the ‘vegan junkfood’ and prefer eating food either in the raw or in soup.
I’m in the process of “localizing” my diet, but that’s a little difficult since I live in the desert region of California. I’m progressively cutting out exotic fruits, sugar, imported packaged foods, foods from out of state, coffee, and certain teas from my diet. I’ve also cut out all sea vegetables as I don’t live near the coast. I get most or all of my produce from farmer’s markets and I grow my own herbs and spices. I’m very interested in foraging. Lately I’ve been debating adding insects into my diet. If anyone knows any good ones, let me know.
I plan on getting some tattoos in the near-ish future. I want a stag on my upper back, ash leaves on my collarbones, a triskal on one arm and a triquatral on the other, and the trigoddess… somewhere. =]
I am a Thoreau ADDICT. I love his work to death and it pulls me out of even the most pathetic mood.
I’m an incense fanatic. I burn it everywhere.
I love love love arab food. Especially falafels.
I’m a primitivist.
I think a lot. Possibly too much. Definitely too much.
I’d rather come off as “pretty”, “sweet”, or “cute” than as “hot” or whatever.
I’m five feet, six inches and weight 85 lbs. Anorexic? Maybe, but I only eat when I’m hungry and I don’t eat so much as to where I feel stuffed. Humans evolved for starvation, not over-consumption.
I practically live at Target. I shop there wayyyy too much.
I love taking three hour long baths - Hot water up to my neck fragranced with oils, salts, crèmes, teas or whatever the hell else I feel like throwing in there. I make sure my skin is soft and smells good all the time.
Spirituality is a huge part of my life. I tend to have quite a pagan outlook on things. I believe in a 'light' force and an 'dark’ force, both forces carry their own energies and have their own effects on a person or environment. I believe in non-human spirits (usually that correspond to ‘dark or ‘light’), human spirits (ghosts?), and energy and stuff like that. I practice meditation, energy channeling, “magical” herbalism and methods of fortune telling. I limit myself to a sort of "organic" spirituality. I use only earthen energy and materials and I follow the Harm None Law passionately. I don’t use black magic to manipulate people and I am VERY against purposely summoning ANY spirit for ANY personal gain (not counting exorcisms). I have a very strong respect for blood, for reasons both scientific and spiritual, and it holds extreme spiritual value to me. So I try really hard to keep it in my body! I have a tremendous love for the Earth, and I believe the only way to truly have an inner peace is to live and turn in harmony with Gaia. Earthen things make me so happy that sometimes I feel like imma explode! Hahah. Keeping close to the mother is a high priority. I love talking about things like that and am cool with any messages (random or otherwise) concerning spirituality. ^^
