I am here for Friends

About Me

I am now a thirtysomething (well, 31 to be exact) with an eight year old daugther and a one year old daughter. Who the hell thought that I would end up as Betty fuckin' Crocker. Actually, that in itself is funny because I am neither Betty, nor Crocker. I think that while I should be a modern working Mom and wife, I rebel against that every day. That is why we eat out of cardboard boxes every night. Man I rock!! So, I am currently the Office Manager at a tanker sales/repair facility in Portland. It's a great job and I love the company and people that I work for. I love my family!! My oldest daughter is my mother's revenge for all the terrible things that I have done and continue to do as an adult (man is she the coolest little kid you will ever meet). My youngest is the most adorable little girl on the face of the planet (I know, all moms say that, but in my case, it is true) and she continues to be an amazing little miracle baby. I love hanging out with my friends and I have my Boo-Boo back!!! My life is pretty laid back (unless you ask Lewis and he will tell you that I am like the eye of a hurricane) and just being happy is what does it for me these days.

My Interests

First and foremost my family. Boating, riding my Harley, reading, camping, scrapbooking (I know, how sick am I?), anything that involves drinking, not learning how to play golf, dreaming about having the time to start watching football again, and various other mind numbing tasks.

I'd like to meet:

Dave Matthews, my Uncle Monty, Ross the Intern, and anyone that shares my interests as you can never have too many friends.

Music:

I love music, all genres. Some of the groups currently in my disc player: New Radicals, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson, Corrin Bailey Rae, Bob Segger, The Fray, Snow Patrol, The Decembrists (great local band). I am open to almost all music and love to enjoy new artists.

Movies:

All time favorite is The Goonies. I could watch Elf all the time too. If I need to cry then I watch Terms of Endearment. I love movies, i just need more time in my life to get caught up.

Television:

The Office, 30 Rock, The Office, Brother and Sisters, The Office, Grey's, The Office, all cartoons (mostly SpongeBob and other stupid, brainless crap), The Office, Prison Break. Did I mention The Office??

Books:

My favorite is called She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. However, I love reading so I have many other's that I really like. I am finally reading the Dark Tower series. I am on book 4 and holy crap is this stuff good!

Heroes:

My daughter Haley, Buddy the Elf (which I really believe are one in the same person) and Dwight Shrute.
