About Me

Hey all,If you're reading this, you may be wondering where I've been, why you haven't been receiving any gig spam! :) Well, I'm currently quite busy working with another band, Anomie Belle, an all girl trip-hop outfit fronted by Toby Campbell. I'm supporting with backing vocals and (soon) keys. We are currently on tour through California and then off to Chicago in December for a midwestern tour. Stop in and see us if you're in those areas!!! Hopefully I'll be ready to get cracking on my next record when we return, so look for more news in the next couple of months. In the meantime, check out Anomie Belle:

Back to stuff about me!
“...this is an important new voice—both powerful and sweet, moving, attention-grabbing, with an utterly seductive vibrato that provides a gentle, nearly erotic shake to the close of each line … Aileen crafts fine songs, filled with the pain and fleeting joys of myriad experiences that most of us can relate to all too easily, and graced with choruses and bridges that get stuck in the mind .” Bill Fisher, Victory Review

“Aileen’s voice has diversity, richness, beauty, and all the other things that go into heart, soul and spirit candy…. the arrangements are spectacularly embroidered and intricately conceived.” Colin Lynch, R Cat Communications

“...a wonderfully dark piano pop album." Jake Nuckolls, CDReviews.com

Aileen Paron originally came to Seattle for the vibrant theatre scene, but soon found herself doing more songwriting than acting. She teamed up with local producer Vincent Gates of Commontone Studio for her debut release, “Anonyma, “ which also features performances from highly respected local musicians including Mark Guenther, Paul Kemmish, Dylan Rieck, and Ryan Smith.

A moody mélange of romance, cynicism and allegory, “Anonyma” delivers darkly beautiful, reflective songs and pulls the listener through a lush soundscape of sophisticated, yet accessible piano pop melodies. Her distinctive voice and personal, evocative lyrics weave through stories of broken relationships, lost innocence, political allegory and more. Aileen is often compared with artists like Fiona Apple, Kate Bush, Tori Amos, and Carole King, but certainly deserves consideration on her own merits.
