Hi, my name is Alicia & I am happily married to the love of my life, Mike! I am fun loving, outgoing, & the most caring girl you will ever meet! (says my friend Julie) I am a born & bred an Iowan girl but my hubby brought me here to beautiful Indiana. I really miss my family and friends but they are pretty spread out over the U.S. I moved here from a population of 3,000 to a town of about 45,ooo! I love Chicago area but the traffic is CRAZY over here! I am a receptionist at a hotel & want to own my own business one day. I have 9 neices & 2 nephews! I am honest, trustworthy, understanding, not judgemental at all. I would really like to meet some cool & honest people to hang with. I am a Christian. Pet peve? Anyone who believes themselves better than others. I can't stand people who are dishonest or snooty! I LOVE to go to the 49er Drive-in Theater with my hubby on the weekends!! I write alot of poetry & have already been published. I have been working on a novel for the last several years & it has taken waaaaaaayyyyy too long b/c I don't spend near enough time on it. Some of my work is good & some maybe average. I am critical yet honest about my talent. I really respect writers, artists, musicians. Creativity is a gift from God. Oh, yeah, also I like to draw cartoon characters. I'm a little kid at heart really. I love to watch cartoons. The Smurfs, Thunder Cats, Snoopy, Scooby-Doo, Sponge Bob, Tom & Jerry, The Road Runner....& so on.
I am usually an optimistic person. But get me on a bad day...& whoa! The negativity just pools out like sludge! Then I gotta turn to Mike for strength. He always sets me in the right direction. Thanks honey!
I am not a morning person. I don't drink coffee, but I like cappachino. I had my last cigarette in 2000. I was married in September 2001, 11 days after 9/11. My husband's birthday is an 11. If you divide 22 in half that's 11. Hmmm...maybe if I go on Deal or No Deal I should choose 11. I don't know just mumbling LOL:)
I'd like to meet Susan Surandon b/c she speaks her mind, Reese Witherspoon b/c she's so down to earth, Rachael Ray b/c she is alot like me quirky, funny & honest.
