FLYNN

About Me

FLYNN slunk into exsistence in July 2005,formed out of twin motives:a desire to play rock 'n' roll stripped back to it's purest essence and sheer spite. Originally moulded around the nucleus of throbbing rhythm section Graeme Flynn(Gashead,Bugshifter,Penthouse,Black Moses) on bass and Steve D'Enton(Gashead,Quickspace,Black Moses,Glockenspiel) on drums, they were soon joined by FX&production genius Adrian Dollemore(Polar Remote,Glockenspiel) on guitar. Having years of experience playing together,Flynn & D'Enton have become an almost telepathic rhythm of unrivalled power and groove. The addition of Dollemore provided all the required sonic colouring and shading for this potent musical brew. Despite the obvious calibre of the musicians involved, virtuoso noodlings are frowned on-having no place in band inspired by the primeval force of rock 'n' roll. Then in May 2006,a chance meeting with Bex,a disaffected former cage dancer at London's Electric Ballroom led to her joining the band to share joint lead vocals with Graeme. Currently recording an as yet untitled lp for Rootbag Records.Stand out tracks so far recorded include 'Mezzanine','Magic Bullet' and 'Everything Is Fucked'.
