About Me

Oneness: Songs of Hope & Unity
Oneness is a non-profit organization whose mission is the elimination of racism and promotion of racial unity through music, the arts and education.
We are also a home for artists wanting to make a difference and place for those looking for art that moves the body and the soul.
The music you are listening to was created at our annual Songwriters Summit for Oneness, which brings together some of the industry's top lyricists and composers. At the Summit, participants are inspired to not only contemplate world issues of humanity, racial unity and social justice, but to also consider the role that they, as artists, may play in affecting positive change.
No corny music here......Alternative, POP,R&B..they're all on this compilation and feature producers/song writers and or artists who have worked with Kanye West, U2 and many others, each song expressing, in their own unique way, the common theme of the oneness of humanity.
Bob Marley once asked; "are you satisfied with the life you're livin?'"
Are you?
Who am a I? A person that you see? There's so much more beneath the skin, there's a soul inside of me. Take the time...just don't pass me by, We may come from different worlds, but its time we crossed the line.Cause Brother the best has yet to come; sister the change has already begun. Open your heart and the world will be one..c'mon
Song lyric excerpt from "What we need now" by the artist, "Seven" from the compilation Oneness, Songs Of Hope & Unity.
