Born in Boston raised in Jasper, Fla; ‘Dae Heat the Skitzo’ has been living through music all his life. The upcoming star relocated to Boston to move in with his biological parents it was then his journey climaxed. His father was a local singer. “I remember my pops use to take me to all his shows; bars clubs and stuff, I guess you can say he put me on.” His friends and family are all involved in music as well. It’s no wonder he has not stopped attacking the studio. “I do not choose to be a rapper I do not care to be a producer, I want to be a musician.” For several years this now 19 – year – old musician has been trying to make his mark as a household musical icon, and 1 of Boston’s hottest talents. He has performed all over Boston as well as many other venues around the Massachusetts area. He has featured on various songs and mix tapes; from Street projects hosted by ‘Cassidy’ to soulful albums by Leon. He is now looking to take his show on the road.
“I want people to hear what I have to say. We all make mistakes and go through situations but it’s what you learn from them that determines who you will become. I’m not trying to glorify stupidity I am trying to detour the upcoming youth by using my own harsh reality” After being released from the Commonwealth, Dae realized he lost all his “…Best friends to the streets. I had nothing left to due but hold on to music like monkey bars.” Dae has a style like no other he is versatile, sarcastic, strategic, and very effective. His influences vary from the late great; Biggie Smalls, Tupac, Big Pun, and sultry Luther Vandross. To the early Snoop Dog, Eminem, Nas, Ludacris and even the legendary Michael Jackson. “These were primary sources of music for me growing up.” Dae has transformed from a toddler with a like for music, into a young man with the heart for it. I been through a lot, but I am happy with my experiences because they got me here today.”
