The Volunteer Arms

About Me

The Volunteer Arms is the musical project of Garrett Crozier formerly of Delphine, The Rolling Blackouts, and Lloyd Farber. The Arms' songs are lush and intricate, drawing from the Beatles, Elliott Smith, the Kinks, the Zombies, Bright Eyes, and fellow Hearts and Stars labelmate the Jena Campaign. The Arms are currently writing songs for their debut album tentatively penned "Tin Roof Town" and Garrett is actively seeking other musicians in the Northeast interested in contributing to the project, especially if you can play a snare, because he can't.

Leaving the State Version I

My friend Erin told me about Bar 4's open mic night in Brooklyn, so we went and it was very nice. I hate open mics. They're so fucking cliche and noone ever goes to hear music; they go so other people...
