Worshippers and sycophants
Damn it's hard to pick out individual ones, so I'll go general. I love Westerns, noirs, gangster pics, and anything else creative and entertaining. A quick guide:Actors: James Cagney, Robert Ryan, The Duke, Walter Brennan, Katharine Hepburn, James Stewart, Barbara Stanwyck, Clint, Rod Steiger, Toshiro Mifune, Bogey and Bacall, Cary Grant, Lee Marvin.Directors: John Ford, Howard Hawks, Sam Peckinpah, John Huston, Don Siegel, Clint, Akira Kurosawa, Spielberg, Orson Welles, Billy Wilder, Woody, Mel Brooks, Tarantino, Nicholas Ray, Chaplin, Sergio Leone.
Daily Show, Colbert Report, Countdown, Lou Dobbs (you just haven't lived until you've seen Dobbs' fleshy pink head get bright red with xenophobic angst), The Office, Kids in the Hall, South Park, most of (non-anime) Adult Swim, assorted sports, I also loved Arrested Development - RIP.
I mostly read nonfiction and history. Yes, because I'm a boring person.
