I am a laid back type of chick that loves to make people laugh and have a good sense of humor. I'm very caring and giving but DON'T take my kindness for weakness. I'm outspoken, trustworthy, loyal, fearless (fear no one but GOD), independent, outgoing, opinionated, and DETERMINED. Once I set my mind to do something I wont stop until it's fulfilled, that's the type of drive I have. I started my own business called "MONAYCIUS ENTERPRISE" which consist of Interior Designing, Make-Up Application, & Event/Party Planning. This is something that I have been holding out for a long time and I finally gave birth to it. I'm excited about my business because it's something I truly enjoy doing, plus I'm DA BOSS...LOL
I am of Haitian decent where my parents moved to the US to MIAMI back in the 70's. I was born in the US soil ssssoooo, I am not looking for someone to marry for a "green card"...lol
I learn to live each day as if it's your last because you never know when it's going to be your last. I once heard someone say "Don't regret what you do, but regret what you don't do." In other words, "Rock It To The Wheels Fall Off."...........

MIAMI
I will be making my first trip to Haiti sometime on next year. I will keep you post with pix. I know it's a shame that I have never been there but at least I'm making an effort to go.
I want to share my life changing story with everyone. I was at one of my friends wedding and we all were taking pictures and enjoying the moment. When I got home and connected the camera to the computer, I could not believe my eyes. I knew for a fact that pix never lie and I had to do something about it. My girl Maria recommended this nutritionist who she was going to at the time and lost 20 pounds in the first month. It was worth a try because I had to do something. I tried so many other weightloss plan out there and it did not work for me. The first day to the doc office I must admit I felt so ashamed because this was the heaviest I have ever been. The doctor was harsh, but he was telling the truth about my health. I had to hold back the tears until I got in my car (you know, because Im a soldier...lol) When it was time for me to get on the scale, I got on backwards because I didn't want to face the fact.
This is the new beginning of my life.
I joined Living Well Ladies Gym and go 5 days a week. I do 1-hour of cardio every time I go to the gym and once I'm done with that I left weights to get toned 3 times a week (to prevent the flab...lol). Ladies, to prevent from looking like a man I recommend you do low weights and high reps. This will get you definition and not bulkiness.

Here is the before and after pictures. I started in the middle of February 2006 and as of today, I lost a total of 94 pounds from my last weigh-in @ da doc office. My ideal goal wuz by my birthday on October 6, 2006 I should be at my ideal size. I am SSSSSSSOOOOOOOO excited. I finally tackled this burden that I have trying to get rid of for sum time now. My motto wuz "NO MORE EXCUSES, JUST DO IT." The feeling is BLISSFUL!! There is no words that could explain how I'm feeling. My one-year anniversary has arrived, and I have done a make-over to go with my new body. When I look back at myself, I can truly say that it wuz worth it.

Anyhow, I had a fabulous B-Day weekend. On Friday, we went to the Carimi Bal at Bongo's. I feel so special because they came in town just for me...lol...Saturday, was a dinner party and then headed out to Grown Folks Nite. Sunday, I just chilled because I'm not as young as I use to be to party the whole weekend straight...lol...Monday, was the finally and there is no other place to do it than Martini Monday's at Cafe Iguana. WHOA, trust me I'm feeling it this week. Here are the pix from the grand weekend.
