Helloooo....Im Si.I used to like sitting on Bole Hill in Sheffield, alone, early in the morning or late at night. It was also the perfect place to end a date... I miss it now :(Without sounding cheesey or cliche, I like 'simple pleasures'... afternoons in the pub with mates, setting off on a trip with nothing but a backpack and a rough idea of where I'm going, and chatting for hours.I 'grew up' in Newcastle, lived in Sheffield for a few years and now Im in Manchester. It's cool living in a new city (and a 'proper' city at that), even if it is a bit odd getting used to the fact that I cant just 'pop down the pub/Union' and know I'm gonna see some friendly face.Travelling is fun. Especially when you are totally naieve about the local language or culture. It makes for interesting situations.I used to hitch hike through Europe on a semi regular basis, but now that I have a job I suppose I dont have the time... Its a shame tho... Sitting in the cab of a truck communicating in Pidgin German with random Lithuanian truckers makes for even more interesting situations.I can speak in a multitude of computer languages, but at times have trouble grasping basic English...Im messy, forgetfull and usually on another planet. But Im harmless.......
