The Doctrine is the musical brainchild of songwriter/composer Harry Moraga. Its been a project a few years well in the making. it’s a result of bands breaking up and Harry immersing himself into a craft where he can truly grow as a musician and human being. Its been the greatest medium for his self expression, full of songs that deal with insecurities, love, frustrations, longing ness, happiness and spiritual growth. The music is meant to take listeners through contrasting moods and sections smoothly enough without having the question of “ whyâ€. It has the yin yang paradigm where songs can be very energetic and aggressive but have very melodic and ambient portions to compliment the other. Harry’s music has been referenced to mimic and sound like some of his influences like Opeth, Lamb of God, Soilwork, King Diamond, Nevermore, Dave Mathews band, Circa Survive just to name a few..................... Harry hopes that this vision will come to some form of reality or launch him into a place where he can perform along side some great musicians and friends. After all, this brainchild was planted with a deep influence and respect from observations of everyone that’s touched and stimulated his heart and mind.
