I have nothing but respect for you. And very little of that.

About Me

I'm just your average, every day, all around good egg. But drop me, and do I not crack? Do I not drip yolk all over the floor? Probably not, but let's not try and find out...I'm extremely liberal, and sort of the conspiracy theory type. I'm drawn to the out of ordinary, eccentric types and if you make me laugh, you're my friend. I love all sorts of music and will give just about anything a chance. I'm a mad crazy Beatles fan. I'm also a mad scrapbooker. And I guess I'm just mad. In a demented sort of way.

Potty Pal

Bailey, one of our cats, has a weird fascination with joining us in the bathroom.  It's as if she's made it her duty in life to be sure that Kevin and I never get lonely while using the toilet.&n...

November 19

Every time November 19th rolls around, I worry that it's the day that I'm going to die.  I know that sounds fatalistic, but I have my reasons. On November 19, 1989, my grandmother died.  She...

A bee? It’s practically November!

So unfair.  I haven't been stung by a bee since I was three years old.  I'm always the person in the room, whenever a bee is inside, that shoos it outside.  When I taught preschool, I a...

Aunt Flora

I've wrote about her before, but we just got back from a weekend in New Hampshire, staying at Aunt Flora's house.  She's a very dear old lady--your quintessential elderly aunt and she loves Kevin...

Thriller

Kevin is playing in a show on Halloween night with a crew that call themselves "Llama Lasagna".  They're not an "official" group, but they are local musicians from various sources that get togeth...

Movie rant

We watched "28 Weeks Later" with Jay and Sara last night and thought I thought it was good.  Gory, but good.  And the first one was better.  It's really hard, however, to come up with s...

Finnish

My grandmother was Finnish.  In the town I grew up in, most people were either Finnish or Italian.  I'm both, but I think I'm proudest of the Finn influence. Anyway, she was Finnish.  ...

I'm a sucker for animals of all sorts.  Lately, walking through our little town, animals have been everywhere.  There are four friendly dogs on our street--Flame, Reno, Bailey and Megan.&nbs...
