About Me

My children are on myspace! We have a policy that we should only post items on the site that we feel the other two would be comfortable seeing. Being the mother to my son & my daughter is the most precious & rewarding gift that God has given me. I work full-time as a Kindergarten Teacher Assistant. I went back to work 5 years ago, after being a stay-at-home mom for a few yrs. I graduated from Wingate College with a BS Degree in Psychology/Human Services...but...I discovered I really love teaching...I plan to eventually get the credits needed to become a Pre-K teacher.

My Interests

I enjoy conversations & spending time with John(my bf), going to the gym, listening to music, & reading.

I'd like to meet:

I'm not necessarily interested in meeting people that I don't know on myspace. I find myspace to be a good way to communicate better with some of my friends and family that I don't see or talk to enough...And, I definitely enjoy my son's and daughter's pages!

Music:

I love music. I have been exposed to many types of music through the years...I appreciate all pretty much...except...country...just can't do that one. The music I listened to in the 80's...that would be my favorite...my kids love it too!!! just kidding!!! I wish, esp. in the car...

Movies:

I rent a lot of movies...Pride & Prejudice is a fave of mine. Napoleon Dynamite is a hit at our house (my son's fave.)

There's not much on TV worth watching.Six Feet Under was a favorite series of mine & Flight of the Conchords.

Books:

currently reading a novel entitled Redeeming Love.I like to read while at the gym.

Heroes:

My Dad...I really miss him a lot.
