Such a tale of mental anguish has never been told... ICM became addicted to Drum & Bass at a very early age. He got his fixes after school with his mates, and now, after years of abuse, he has developed into a full-on beat junkie. His addiction is now so bad that any extended period without nasty, nasty noise forces him to slip into withdrawl... He soon started to notice the whispers : "Do it... do it... we know you want to...". Eventually he could not resist any longer - he began to DJ. Everthing was all good for a time, he played at venues across London (and had lots of fun), supposedly for the crowd... but in reality he was commanded by the voices echoing throughout his warped mind. Alas it was not enough. The voices started to get angry, and soon began screaming : "Listen, you fuck! We want to hear mad drumming! We want to hear glorious melodies! We want to hear grinding synths! We want to hear crisp production! We want to hear surprising breaks! If you don't deliver, we're going to take over, and then we can do things the way we want... Woo Hoo Hah Ha Ha Ha!!!". Despite his best efforts to appease them, ICM could not find the tunes the voices wanted in any of the shops he frequented. The voices became weary of waiting, and finally they decided to possess him. Now ICM has to settle for a double life. By day, he appears to be a regular man, working hard as a solicitor and having fun with his friends. But by night, his soul is consumed by the desire to produce Psy-Trance influenced Drum & Bass... For it is the only way he can co-exist with his perverted conciousness and its dominating beat fetish.
