About Me

..I teach for a hobby but I am an artist by profession. I have always had an artistic streak that mostly went undeveloped until the early '90's. Since then I have nurtured a passion for sculpture, primarily in wood but not necessarily exclusively. I learned most of what I know about wood sculpture from going to various symposiums in Europe and here in Wisconsin. I am a fan of music. Bluegrass, Newgrass, Latin, Blues, Most American Indian styles except that damned new-age Indian flute shit. Too romantically "back to Mother Earth..." for me. (Sorry, Carlos Nakai) I am thrilled to be married for nearly 13 years to an awesome woman named Stacy. I have a remarkable daughter in her 3rd year of college. (She's in my top 8) We have four animals who live with us and they are the lights of our lives. My family has all relocated out here over the past few years and life couldn't be better. Our extended family branches out into a few different communities from the non Wisconsin Indian community to all of my high school students I've taught throughout the years and who I still maintain contact with. Life is good.

What is the "Higher Power?"

I've heard it said that dreams are more real than waking time. In a Sundance community, dreams are often the determining factor in it's evolution. Are our dreams linked to our maker? Is our maker more...
