I'm a pretty laid-back, easy-going guy. I like just about everyone until they give me a reason not to. I try not to judge others based on anything other than the way they treat me and other people.I was born and grew up in Indiana, my hometown is a little place called Cloverdale. I moved to DC in Sept of 2000, a year after my mother died. I was there for over 4 1/2 years when I met my boyfriend Donny. We now live in Myrtle Beach, SC. I like it here, it reminds me a little of Indiana -- just next to the ocean. I do miss DC, the convenience, the museums, but not the traffic. The only thing I don't like about living here is the isolation. Finding good, non-flaky, friends, and good take out is hard. Luckily we've found a few worth while people. One can never have too many good friends. But if you decide you want to get out of town, it's an hour drive just to get to the interstate. God help us if we ever really have a hurricane!I do have a dry sense of humor, not everyone gets it, but at least I DO have one. ;-) I don't take much personally, especially online. I think it's kind of nuts to really take too much seriously from people you've never or will probably never meet in person. Context is very easily mistaken here so if you chat me up don't worry too much about offending me. I can talk about anything. But if I don't like the topic, I'll tell you. Which leads me to another trait I have, I'm honest. Sometimes to a fault, but I am. I genuinely care about others' feeling and well-being. I try to show courtesy in my interactions. (I know that's a lost concept for some these days.) I assume if you want me to know something, you'll tell me, if you don't, it's none of my business.If there's anything else you want to know about me, just ask. I'll tell you, or I'll tell you I'd rather not. The only stupid questions are the ones you don't ask or the ones to which you already know the answer.Cheers!
