I am a 47 yr.old Born again Christian,with 2 sons 24,23and a grand-daughter. I am an excellent listener. I have a POSITIVE OUTLOOK on life and negative people drive me crazy so I have to pray daily for patience when dealing with negative attitudes. I have a compassionate heart, especially for teens. (that's why you will see teens in my friends section). I work in a std clinic and enjoy educating young adults and adults on this topic. I encourage abstinence because there are so many young people getting std's without knowing the full concequences.I believe that TRUST and Honesty are the most important things needed in any relationship. I love the Lord and all that he has created. I know the power of prayer and I know prayers are answered! If you want to chat or have a prayer request, just leave a message and I will pray for you. My Interests

I have recently started going to the gym, love camping, hiking, fishing although I must admit I more the reader while the pole does the work. Willing to learn about racing or other sports.

New people and make some new friends and hear about others and their interesting lives. I am a people person and enjoy learning about all walks of life. Music:

I enjoy a wide range of music but my all time favorites are the contempory christian like Casting Crowns, Jars of Clay, Jeremy Camp, Pocket Full of Rocks, POD, Mercy Me, Steven Curtis Chapman etc. Christian rock, Skillet, thanks to some teens.

Movies:

I like a variety of movies, depends on my mood. Serious stuff like Passion of the Christ I have watched 5 times. Any of Mel Gibson's movies but especially Braveheart and Patriot. Also Tom Hanks but I won't see the DiVinci Code. Comedy's like Meet the Fockers. Historical epics like Shawshank Redemption etc. All the Disney or Pixar movies. And of course chick flicks.

Television:

American Idol, Survivor (I have rarely missed an episode of any of these) Gilmore Girls, 7th Heaven Discovery Channel. Not really a crazy tv watcher.

Books:

Oh books I just enjoy reading. The Bible or something center around Christianity, self-help, a good love story. I read many of Oprah's favorites and rarely do I not enjoy them. There is always a book in my car, in my desk at work or by my bedside. I can have several books going at one time. Reading has been my passion since I discovered books could take me anywhere at anytime way back in middle school.

Heroes:

Would be my sons Josh & Jarrod for suffering and surviving with me through some painful times in our life. My Lord Jesus Christ for suffering and dying for me so that I could be free and forgiven and not have to live in those past mistakes. The joy of my life, my grand-daughter Kendra, who God brought to my life 6 yrs. ago.
