Im Richard, i knit, crochet, sew, college, paint things. I love creating things that can be worn. I like to take crafts to extremes, using giant knitting needles, wire, hair, and odd fibres. i love recycling, its becoming more and more important in my work, i see clothes hanging off rails mass produced unwanted and waiting to be saved, i give them a life they would never have, i love old floral patterns, and brand logos. i like painting fabric with bleach, and dying my own yarn. i enjoy making organic shapes, using freeform knitting. i love to do splatter painting, and collages, i love the berlin dadaists work and the cubists like georges braques. I like weathering decaying objects and plants and trees. i like to collect treasures, things i find, the empty shells of human life, cans, boxes, that sort of thing.
