About Me

Musician (singer, songwriter, trumpet, percussion, turntables, production, slide whistle) and artist. I like art, music, film, philosophy, science, open-minded & expressive people, comedy, athletic activity, fixing things, restoring old houses, spicey food, animals (especially my pets) - for their honesty and zen mastery, good conversation, archeology, sociology, the way the voice-over on our local cable access channel goes up in pitch whenever he says a price, passionate people, smiling & laughing, and sometimes I smell nice. Some of my favorite quotes include: "Life is a theater in which the worst people often have the best seats." (Aristonymus) - "Life consists not in holding good cards, but in playing those you do hold well." - "For most... life is a search for the proper envelope in which to get themselves filed." - "life is a great bundle of little things." (O.W. Holmes 1) - "Life is a tragedy for those who feel and a comedy for those who think." - "life is a foreign language: we all mispronounce it." - "Life is what our character wants it to be." (Jules Renard) - "Life is far too important a thing to ever talk seriously about." (Oscar Wilde) - "My father always said laughter is the best medicine. Maybe that's why so many of us died of tuberculosis." -Jack Handy, who also wrote: "Of all my imaginary friends, I don't think there was one I didn't end up having to kill." and, "As I felt the soft, cool mud squish between my toes, I thought, Man, these not very good shoes!".. width="425" height="350" ..
